Cancer or not?

Hey guys, the last couple of days I've developed a whitish spot on the side of my tongue, it's not really big or anything but it sticks out quite a bit, I noticed this about 2-3 days ago, I've seen oral surgeons and dentists about things in my mouth and that smoking can cause changes in the mouth.. has anyone out there expierenced similar things?

Anything advice or feedback would be appreciated

Go see a dentist. It may be a ulcer (did i spell it right?) Or it may just be a scar

no its probably not cancer. like the first person said that it is probably an alser. it miht be a tumor though.
