If atheist scientists found the cure for cancer, would you say "God bless...

...you!" to them? Let's say a group of atheist scientists discovered a way to end all cancer. And you were able to meet them. Would you say "God bless!" when you met them, or would you just say "Thank you so much, you're great!"?
Come on, you couldn't honestly believe that God would have an atheist find the cure for cancer, could you?

I'm not sure that anyone would really think to say 'God bless'. I'd certainly bow to them though.

I'm an athiest in the science field but I totally respect that people believe in God and take no offence when people say 'God bless you'. It's the highest compliment a religious person can pay you - and we all love compliments!

I think that anyone who found the cure for cancer should win the Nobel prize, be they Christian, Atheist, Hindu... etc. If someone is saving lives, why does their religion matter at all?

There is nothing wrong with me asking my God to bless anyone, even if they are a non-believer.
