well i don't know about cancer, but a microwave emits a ton of electromagnetic radiation. This form of radiation is very harmful if you are exposed to electromagnetic radiation. Thats why they say never stand to a microwave when its on .

Duckie help. has a spectacular aura about
It is near to impossible to get cancer from a microwave. IMPOSSIBLE people. Of course, a microwave gives off radiation in order to cook the food, but the amounts are so small and it's in a contained box. You would have to surround yourself with around 40 old microwaves to even possible get a slight bit of radiation on you. The newer microwaves are so advanced. Even if you look through the door of the microwave while it's on for hours you won't get radiation. It is slightly possible with older models as they are old and overused.

It's a myth people. Most people who get cancer will go through the 5 stages of terminal illness. One of the stages is blame. Where a person will blame everyone and thing for their illness. Some people will blame their microwave for cancer, but it's totally false. Often people overlook the key causes of cancer. Lifestyle and history.

In conclusion, your microwave WILL NOT GIVE YOU CANCER. However, the Taco Bell 2 pound burrito you are reheating in the microwave can put you on the path to getting cancer or other illnesses.

My mom got rid of her microwave because shes convinced that it causes cancer. Now she just cooks everything in the oven or on the stove....and she cooks everything for my brothers now because they can no longer just throw something in the microwave.I still have a microwave because it's extremely convenient.
