| I found out my friend has cancer. I need advice? My best friend Danielle is really nice and I love her so much! We were at lunch today and she was really quiet and I asked her what was wrong and she told me she has breast cancer. I am heart broken and I am so afraid that I will loose my best friend. I totally feel like doing something besides going to all of her treatments and taking her places. I don't know what I can do to not be offensive and still feel like a sister to her. I am having a tough time, help me out!      |

| I think you should tell her that she can come to you anytime for advice or help. Ask her what you can do. If she wants help give it to her and if she doesn't that's her decision. You should just spend some quality time together and don't act differently. I'm sure the last thing she wants to hear is "I'm so sorry about your breast cancer." |
