Basal skin cancer? i've had it removed 3 times from the same place?

Basal skin cancer? i've had it removed 3 times from the same place?

on my face.. it kept coming back. now i am being sent to a dermasurgeon, they tell me they sedate you and cut a football shape incision then when they remove tissue they examine it right then in the lab until they find healthy tissue..... im kinda freaked, anyone else went through this? will it leave a really bad scar? will i have to have anymore treatment like raidiation or anything.??
