Treatment options for bullmastiff with bone cancer in front leg & hip...

...dysplasia in back hips? Any homeopathic? The dog is only 6 years old and appeared to be healthy. Brought him to the vet because he was limping. Vet found a tumor in his bone on the front leg. Had a biopsy done but am still waiting on the results. Vet is pretty sure that it is bone cancer. Has anyone had any success with treatments. I don't think amputation is a good option because of his hips. Any thoughts are appreciated.

My two year old Alaskan Malamute has bilateral hip dysplasia and carpal arthritis in both front legs.

He gets monthly chiropractic and acupuncture treatments along with custom chinese herbs and Adequan injections, along with daily Dasuquin.

I work at a rather large vet clinic and the doctor that treats my dog, Kodiak, also treats horses and cats in addition to dogs. Our clinic is located in eastern North Dakota and we have clients that come from all areas on Minnesota including Minneapolis, various parts of Canada, Montana and South Dakota for treatments.

This spring, we are also going to do gold wire implants in Kodiak's hips to help prevent worsening of the dysplasia.

I'd recommend looking for a veterinarian in your area that is certified in animal acupuncture and chiropractic and or traditional chinese medicine.

I was a MAJOR skeptic of this until I ran out of options for Kodiak. So I gave it a try, and it's given our boy a new lease on life!!!
