I heard a quote once that said "with a cancer you go to bed with betty crocker and wake up with lizzy borden". It's very broad but true if you think about it. A cancer can be the most nurturing person you know, mostly concerned with family and home life. On the other end of the spectrum you have someone who needs a whole lot of emotional attention, which can seem psychotic sometimes.

Also known as the Sign of the Prophet or Teacher, Cancer is Negative in polarity (as are Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces). The general characteristics of Negative Signs lean toward introversion and prefer to draw upon personal resources rather than look for external stimuli. Cancer is a Summer Zodiac Sign (as are the Signs of Leo and Virgo). This time of the year is also known as the Summer Solstice when the days are longer and the nights are shorter than at any other time during the year. He he..whatever sun sign you are, Sam, there are probably countless people who believe YOUR SUN SIGN has many negatives too or that your sun sign is the worst possible in the entire zodiac! They all have negatives. Like 2 sides of a coin, all sun signs have 2 different sides, pros and cons, just like EVERYTHING in life.

Cancer's are clingy & needy, hence the crab sign..they are ruled by the moon and can either be in a very good or very bad mood when there is a full moon...they also like the home because crabs carry their homes on their backs.
