| Hi all. This is a question about bladder cancer. I have cancer of that... ...region, and will be seeing the? specilist on Friday this week. In my right leg is a tumour about 4cm in dimension in my thigh in my soft tissue. Now what I want to know is on the ultrasound report of my right thigh. it says "Imaging of the region of clinical concern at the proximal medial thigh demonstrates a hetrogenious region echogenicity mesuring approximatley 4cn in maximum dimensions. An internal elongated focus of decreased echogenicity is seen within the deep aspect of the lesion within the subcuntaneous tissues" what does this mean? any doctors on line here or medical experts or nurses? also it says a the bottom "There is no evidence of involvment of the underlying musculature. There is no evidence of increased vascularity within the region." Conclusion "The appearences are non -specific. the region of clinical concern may reflect a focus of brusing with small deep subcutaneous haematoma, however a heterogenous solid lesion cannot entirely be excluded" Then they recomened a biopsy to see if it has spread.
so could anyone pleaseexpain this report to me? Thank you very much. |
