Whats the best way to raise donations for my friends fight with cancer. He's 6...

...treatments from cured 100%! Blood ozone treatment (out of state) was successful, but he ran out of money. He needs 6 more months of it to wipe it out of his body completely but it costs $3000 a month to do it and he's lost everything. I feel helpless because I don't have enough money to even put a dent in that. However, I have the gumption to do whatever it tales to raise the money, but I've never embarked on anything like this before. My friend is a kind, wonderful person who deserves a chance to live.

Any fundraising advice is sincerely appreciated.

a friend of mine had cancer and we organised a shave event where two of my friends had there heads shaved, first they got people to sponsor them and we charged for all the drinks and food during the night. Then my two friends got up infront of everybody and has there heads shaved. We raised alot of money and it also really lifted my friend with cancers spirits to see two girls with really long hair have it all shaved off because they loved her so much.
We spoke to a few local buisness and they donated various food and drinks to be sold during the night and the party was held in a friends backyard.

Good luck, i'll say a prayer for your friend.

The website I attached is fabulous for all of that information and it gives you tons of leads on non profits and other organizations that may qualify your friend for money!

I would also just start something yourself, you can throw a benefit concert at a local bar and work something out with the owner, you can put out some containers at your work and give them to his family as well to put out asking for donations.

Feel free to email me if you want or IM me, I've put a lot of fundraisers on and can help you out!
