it is true. all those chemicals and nicotine go into the gum and you chew it around for awhile after you smoke and swallow it down your throat.

yes it is true, the gum opens up your pores, and is easier for the nicotine to get inside

i never thought of that before, but if you consider that the toxins and chemicals from the cigarettes are getting into the gum and then "resting" more in your mouth, its totally plausible.

Cancer is a result of mutating DNA. The problem is that as the DNA gets mutated when radioactive electrons in the dangerous chemicals in the smoke knock something in your chromosomes out of whack, the gene that tells the cell to stop dividing is "broken"- thus it and its daughter cells keep dividing over and over- and there you have cancer. Does chewing gum aid in creating mutations at the molecular level? No way.
