cancer, does drinking a LOT everyday keep the chemo from working?

He had colon cancer that went to the liver. Has had chemo for almost four years still has three places on the liver that will not go away and can not have surgery because of where they are located on the liver.

Anyone with any kind of liver problem should not drink at all, it can kill you.

drinking alot every day isn't good for anything. . . the benefits you hear about a glass of wine or two a day are also true for grapejuice or grapes. .alcohol is a poison that just so happens to be kinda enjoyable up to the point that it kills ya....but don't let that fool you -- its a poison. i'm by no means a doctor and maybe thats whom you should be asking this question....if it doesn't keep the chemo from working, it surely doesnt help.

alcohol is not good when u need all the oxygen and water working to help maintain yer system during the fight,

It won't counteract the chemo but it's surely not helping the condition of the liver.
