Do trees get cancer because of the fall of Adam & Eve?

Christians say cancer and disease entered the world because of the fall of Man. Before that there was no disease.

Trees also get cancer. Were trees cancer-free before the fruit was eaten? Or was cancer limited to trees, and then applied to humans?
