whaleyc38 has a spectacular aura about
STD risk with escort, specifically cancer causing HPV?

I am with someone whom I care very much about. Parts of her childhood prevent us from being as intimate as I would like. I without a doubt I want to stay with her. I have been considering seeing an escort lately, in an area where it is legal. Putting aside morals and ethics, I wonder what type of medical risk this would create. My partner and I have only had sexual contact of any kind with each other, so neither of us have any STDs, including HPV. I have been able to find information about general STD risk, however haven't been able to answer my worries about HPV. From what I've read, an escort would almost certainly carry HPV even if they didn't have symptoms, right? If I have protected intercourse with an escort, would I almost certainly carry HPV to give to my partner? What about receiving protected or unprotected oral sex from an escort, does that carry an HPV risk? Is the HPV/cancer risk small enough that it's not worrying about, or is it something I should worry about?
I have read that even when using a condom, HPV can be spread, since a condom doesn't prevent general skin to skin contact.
Also, I have read that most people have HPV, but I'm wondering if the two of us are almost guaranteed not to have it right now since we haven't had sexual contact with anyone else (of any kind), or are we both likely to have it even still?
