Is it illegal to put people to sleep?...cancer...?

ok my friend has cancer and uhm..she says the doctors ar gonna put her to sleep in 2 days. is that illegal?
she said as in put to sleep..foreverr.
is it illegal in missouri?

Euthanasia and assisted suicide are illegal. She could be being put to sleep for a proceedure. They can induce comas for extended period of times while proceedures are carried out. They will sedate and induce comas if for some reason she needs to be on a ventalator for an extended time.

I promise you though, they are not killing her.

Yes it is. It's very unlikely that doctors are going to do this, they would lose their medical license and have criminal charges brought up against them.

There is a lot of debate about this, ethically speaking.. but as of right now it is Illegal, considered murder.

Your friend is probably being put on pallative care if she is terminal which means they will help give her pain management and keep her in a somewhat sedative state sometimes to make her end of life situation easier.

Or maybe she is having a procedure done and was joking around?
