do i have testicular cancer?

i noticed a couple weeks ago that my left testicle keeps shrinking and gettin normal size again...sometimes it will shrink 3 times in size.....ive been reading up on testicular cancer and it says one of the most common symptoms is change in size of your testicle or testicles.....should i be worried about this?

testicular cancer is characterised by a small painless lump in the testicle, see a doctor though.

When I had it about 10 years ago, the testicle didn't shrink, but expanded. I also felt a "heaviness" in my lower abdomen.

Get it checked out now. There are many other things it could be, that's not cancer related. These other things are much more easily treated than cancer.

Don't wait!!!! I waited for months because I was embarassed (or I didn't want to deal with the answer). If it's testicular cancer, the earlier the prognosis the better. Despite my delay, I had a couple of surgeries and I'm completely fine now. In fact, my first son was born a couple of months ago.

Please, please get it checked out. Make an appt. tomorrow morning. You'll feel better just to know what the answer is. It sounds like that it's nothing, but I'm not a doctor.

I would think an *increase* in size would be more indicative of a tumor; but it still sounds like something unusual is going on. I'd check with a doctor; there are problems besides cancer that can make things difficult for you. Good luck!
