Differsnce between gynecomastia and breast cancer?

I recently noticed a disk like lump underneath my left nipple.It's not big enough to be seen,but you can defiantly tell the difference between my left and right nipple if you feel them.Its painless and hard.I need to know if I have gynecomastia or cancer.If its gynecomastia,will it continue to grow or will it just one day go away?If its cancer,how serious is it?Thanks for the help.

gynecomastia appears during puberty affecting both ta`tas. It is hormonal... that is.. you dont have to be fat ... so if you are older than that... see your doc.

Gynecomosatia is the benign growth of breast tissue. Its usually associated with puberty, certain medications and hormone secreting tumours. Often it is not treated, unless for cosmetic reasons.

Cancer is a maliganant growth, in that it continues to grow and doesn;t repsect other tissues borders. It needs to be removed and treated.

As men do get breast cancers as well, its best to see your doctor for an exam and other tests as needed. Don't ignore this finding!

If you are obese they will be like large breast but if you are not you are like me almost everybody going through puberty gets them. They can go away in one day, one week, one month, one year everybody is different if you are worried go to the doctor but its norm.
