| Estimate the probability that a randomly selected cell phone user will develop such a cancer.? In a study of 420,095 cell phone users in Denmark, it was found that 135 developed cancer of the brain or nervous system. Is the result very different from the probability of 0.000340 that was found for the general population? What does the result suggest about cell phones as a cause of such cancers, as has been claimed?      |

| Well to find the probabilty all you have to do is take the number of outcomes and divide it by the total possible number of outcomes. 135/420095 = 3.21356* 10^-4 or 0.00032. So the probabilty is not that different from the one taken for general population. But it is very low. |
