If you have Cancer, What service or type of help would you find the most usefull?

Let me rephrase my question. As the widow of a man who dies of cancer.....I have found my calling to go to nursing school for oncology. I want to help in the form of medical support and in the form of emotional support. So I'm trying to decide which classes I need to take to be more specific....those for pain management or chemotheropy or radiology or infusion. However you "midnight moon" you bring up a very good point being that of human services for patients who need financial help. I'm trying to figure out what I can do as a VOLUNTEER and as far what direction I should go school wise to better help those who are ill with cancer. Thanks for all of your opinions.
