I don't even hate Kobe. I give him credit where credit is due. Kobe is easily a top 3 player in the current NBA. But is Kobe's career better than Tim's?

Isn't saying Kobe has a better career just like saying Manu Ginobili has a better career than Tim Duncan?
When Kobe jockers are embracing these delusions, how is Kobe not overrated?

duncan has accomplished more (four championships to three) and has been one of the most consistent player ever..the thing about duncan is that he is so solid, fundamental, and complete, but he has never been dominant...he has been so successful because of his ability to player the team game...i would agree that duncan has had the better career thus far, but kobe has easily been the better and more dominant player...aside from jordan, kobe has been the most dominant and unstoppable guard since guys like west and robertson

duncan is so consistent that people take what he's done for granted. its hard to imagine that someone of his caliber is underrated but i think relative to his accomplishments, he is underrated. people only know him to be a winner of rings but they dont understand what exactly his impact is on the court as a player. the man is a career 21/11 guy, and 3 assists/game is pretty good for a big man. but just because he's not the flashiest guy in the world means he just plain doesnt stand out compared to a lebron or a kobe bryant.

"better career" is a rather ambiguous term, but its hard to argue with duncan's career stats and accomplishments, i think they deserve to be discussed more than they have been. of course, this place is going to be very pro-kobe so you wont hear much about duncan aside from his rings.
