how do you feel about lifestyle/career changes and advancements while in a

relationship? i've always found it hard to picture what it would be like if you were with someone for say 3-4 years, and say you finish school get a job and grow out of alot of your old habits and mature into a professional, but your lady then finds you boring, or not as into you and not ready to mature. you love her and she loves you and the relationship was perfect all the while, but now that things are different its not the same. has anyone been in this situation? were you able to manage it? obviously if there was a split then it wasn't love in the first place?...its just a thought i've always had, it can happen to anyone, any insight?
maybe im just thinking too far ahead. if its right then its right. it should be something discussed in the first place and she should accept it and be willing to accomodate right? i guess i answered my own question, but relative stories would be good to hear
