A Bachelor's degree in International Relations, like other liberal arts degrees, does not give you entry into a specific field. It does, instead, provide you with a broad knowledge base that you can use to excel in a variety of occupations. These occupations include (but aren't limited to):

* Archivist
* Demographer
* Diplomat
* Foreign Affairs Analyst
* Foreign Affairs Specialist
* Foreign Service Officer
* Immigration Specialist
* Intelligence Specialist
* Journalist
* Language Specialist
* Market Research Analyst

Bachelor's Level Course Work
If you choose to pursue a degree in International Relations or International Affairs, your course work will likely include economics, political science, sociology, anthropology, history, and business. This multidisciplinary approach will prepare you for a variety of occupations.

Here are sample curriculums from a few schools that offer bachelor's degrees in International Relations or International Affairs.

* California State University - Chico
* University of Wisconsin - Madison
* Florida State University
