are two different types of Resumes? That's correct TWO different types. When you apply to these large companies/corporations, and on their website they say please copy or paste your resume, well what they're looking for is a "Scannable Resume" This means that when you send the resume via computer, on the receiving end, a computer scans the resume and looks for keywords, titles, achievements, headings, formating... list goes on. And only those that the computer recognizes, thats when you know your resume is a success. Because think about it when everybody wants to work a particular company, no one can read all the thousands of resumes, instead the computer does the work.
And believe me, this is not a joke, you can actually find guidelines on how to create a successful resume, and once you do, you got the job. Oh yeah, and keep 2 resumes, 1 ordinary one, and the other a scannable one only for major companies.
