| How can I make sure the tabbing on my resume which is in word format stays when
uploading to career sites? How can I make sure the tabbing on my resume which is in word format stays when uploading to career sites like monster and careerbuilder, jobrific.com and so on? The formatting seems to mess up. I tab the lines to even things out and when I upload my resume, it looks messed up. If anyone knows of a better way please let me know.

Yeah, I found this problem too. I have really nice formatting on my resume, and it looks like garbage on the net. In my experience, employers know this, so they just look at the content. Be sure to bring nice printed copies of your resume to interviews, there's not much you can do on the web.
