| In chemistry what does Qc and Kc mean? Kc is the equilibrium constant for a reaction where the value of Kc is calculated using the equilibrium concentrations of the products and reactants.Qc is called the reaction quotient, and has the same form as Kc, but is calculated using non-equilibrium concentrations of products and reactants. Calculating Qc will tell you whether the reaction is at equilibrium (it will equal Kc) or whether the reaction will proceed to the right (Qc<Kc) or to the left (Qc>Kc) |
