| plz help me on chemistry work plz i beg of u i really need help and could use it plz i dont want to fail plz!!
Answer questions true or false1. The SI tempreature unit is Celsius.2. A Kelvin is the same temperature interval as a degree Celsius.3. Because 0.00C os eqia; tp 273.15K, individual temperatures have different numerical values o n the two scales.4. A temperature difference taken between two objets has a different numerical value in kelvins and in degrees Celsius.5.Heat, like other forms of energy, is measured in kilocalories.6. Kelvin temperatue = Celsius temperature = 273.157. Molar entropies are always negative, except at 0.0K,where they are generally zero.8. The entropy of a substance increases with temperature.9. Solids have greater molar entropies than liquids.10. Gases have the most freedom to move, so their molar entropies are the greatest.11. At absolute zero, no disorder means no entropy.Practice problems:12. Calculate the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 180.0 g of water from 10.0C to 40.0C. The molar heat capacity for water is 75.3 J/K Mol.13. How many joules would be required to change the temperatue of 250.0g of aluminum from 15.0C to 75.0C? The molar heat capacity of aluminum is 24.2 J/K MOL14. How much heat is required to raise the temperature of 68.0 g of tin from 25.0 C to 80.0C? The molar heat capacity of tin is 11.1 J/K Mol.

Your practice problems are all solved by the equation Heat= moles x temp change x molar heat capacity. So you have to convert your masses to moles. Then it is "plug it in, plug it in". As for your T/F stuff. 1-False, SI is deg Kelvin, 2-True, 3-True, 4-False, 5-FalseWith the second batch of questions, entropy is NOT a property defined for a substance at some condition such as temperature & pressure. It is a entity that occurs due to a PROCESS. So 7-10 are all false, but 11 is true.
