A basic chemistry lab?

An empty heated flask with a rubber stopper on it, is submerged in a sink filled with very cold water (0 C). After waiting a few minutes some cold water has flowed into the flask. Can anybody give me a kinetic theory based explanation on why water came into the flask?

Notes: -There is a small hole in the rubber stoppers
- Try thinking about volume, pressure and temperature
