| chemistry help please! How do you write the formula for Rb & I? What ionic...
...compound is this? Would you please show me the steps in doing the problem. I don't understand at all and my book does a poor job of explaining how to write the formula. Thank you!      |

The charge of Rb (Rubidium) is +1. The charge of I (iodine) is -1. SO, the ions will be in a one to one ratio in the ionic formula, because you always want the charges to equal zero. So, the formula is RbI |
