General Chemistry!?

A gas-filled weather balloon with a volume of 59.9 L is released at sea-level conditions of 755 torr and 23°C. The balloon can expand to a maximum volume of 762 L. When the balloon rises to an altitude at which the temperature is -5°C and the pressure is 0.064 atm, will it reach its maximum volume? What is the final volume of the balloon?

steve_geo1 has a spectacular aura about
23C = 296K; -5C = 268K; 0.064atm x 760torr/1atm = 48.6 torr

P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

V2 = P1V1T2/P2T1

V2 = (755torr)(59.9L)(268K) / (48.6torr)(296K) = 842 L

So the balloon will reach its maximum volume of 762L.
