I have a BS in Chemistry (june 07) and no job (In NYC) , please help???

I graduated in summer and I been looking for job since then and I haven't found anything yet. I feel very helpless and depress, Can somebody please tell me where to appy?? i been using monster and careerbuilder but no reposnse. please help
