Do steroids hurt team chemistry in baseball?

Looking at the steroids lists, the biggest players on it, like Bonds and Clemens, rarely ever won championships. You could even add people like Giambi and maybe even A-Rod on there. Once the Yankees got roided up, they stopped winning World Series.

Is the "me-first" pyschology behind steroids actually a bad thing for team chemistry?

In other words, a player who would take steroids is selfish to begin with, and that bad attitude hurts bonding in the locker room?
