I got a C in chemistry without even trying am I still considered smart?

I took chemistry I, comp I, and two other basic classes. And my gpa is a 2.7...I got a C in chemistry without studying all that much...I work 24 hrs a wk and hang out most of the time. I am interested in pharmacy school and I believe I can make it to pharmacy school b/c I am smart enough...The problem is I dont study..I thought that if I got a C in chem I without trying maybe I can get a/b's if I did try to study...I know this girl who got into pharmacy school and her gpa is 3.8 but she studies all day long and she doesnt work cause all she does is study. I dont think she is that smart tho cause she studies alot.
Do you think I'm smart enough if i got a C in chem i w/o studying?
