Is high school/chemistry hard?

A few days ago I was at this informational meeting for AP classes in high school [i'm in 8th grade] and my mom picked up some papers with the material from all the classes on it. I take one look at the chemistry paper, and it has all thesse formulas for ions and it looks like a bunch of ancient greek atlantian language or something. I can't believe i'm gonna be tested on that someday. I don't wanna go to high school. i'm frickin scared. i'm gonna die.

im in chem honors right now, its not the bad. but u really have to be good at calcuating and visualing microscopic specimens to do good in chem. if not, i wouldn't reccomend taking it.
