1. suggest two chemical and physical properties of iron and oxygen

2.table salt naturally forms in tiny cubes with flat surfaces. Salt that is ground up very finely and examined under a microscope still appears as cubes, just very much smaller.
Use the fact that salt is an ionic solid to explain how this happens.

3.Candle wax is composed partly of C18 H 38. The covalent bonds between the atoms in these molecules are extremely strong. Yet wax is soft and has a low melting point. Use the fact that wax is molecular solid to explain why this is the case.
