| Chemistry Chemical Lab! HELP? Help me! Today we performed a demo lab in where our teacher heated a unknown chemical in a flask and heated it until it boiled then took the temperature of the flask turned it upside down (with a plug so the chemical wouldnt get out) and poured room temperature water over the flask while this was happening there were still boiling bubbles in the flask and the temperature was slowly decreasing and steam was coming off of the flask? Anybody know where this experiment is and or how to explain this? Thanks SO MUCH |
