chemistry help........................ 10 pt invovled?

P1V1 = P2V2

and

PV= k [ boyle law formulas]

Do these two expression tell us different things, or are they different representation s of the same phenomena

and how do i sketch the general shape of graph of pressure versus volume for an ideal gas.
