Chemistry help?

I need a detailed explaination of how to figure out a problem. There is a long paragraph that goes along with the question but I won't post that.

If 10 grams of NaOH are used to make the solution that is 20% by weight NaOh, how much does the solution weight?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks to all who reply.

10 grams NaOH= 20% of total solution.
so you figure 10grams/ X grams = 20%/100%
cross multiply.
20X=1000
1000/20=50
so the total solution is 50 grams!
lol i hope that's right...
