Re: What happens to someone in Coast Guard boot camp who can't or will not comply? Well you said the Magic words "He has already been transferred to another company" with that being said. He is more then likely being what they call recycled and has to start from the begining; meaning start all over again.
If he or she can not handle the indoctrination into being a sailor or the military's basic training environment being groomed with basic skills, along with discipline, training and survivability skills. If he can not adapt, he will be discharged, but they don't just boot you out. they give you a couple of opportunities to suceed and excell wether that be through another chance in a different company or maybe what I call a Correctional Care facility; where they will make it rough on him or her 24 hours a day. It's a motivational program designed to actually turn around raw recruits into becoming an asset to themsleves enstilling them with pride and don't give up attitude thus providing confidence into them. It's not easy if he or she gets stuck in oneof those programs but if all he did was get recycled, then thats not so bad. If it was so easy to be in the Military then everyone would make it. And having said that, we all know not all people can make it through .......and for that reason we have the best fighting force in the world !!! |
