| Coast Guard question?
This is a dumb question but do people in the coast guard recieve dog tags? If so do all of them and why? And also do they usually get their picture taken in bot camp like the other branches since they're a part of the military?

i do believe they get them but i couldnt tell you for sure, why dont you just ask your coast guard recruiter. and if they do get them then all of them would get them all they are is another form of identification.. i dont see why people are so obsessed with something that is strictly there to idetify you when you get killed

No they do not get dog tags. Yes they get their picture taken in bootcamp, but the pics are crap compared to the other branches. They didnt even get the name of the company and CC's correct on my group photo. |
