Was 9-11 a Fault of Homeland Security?

Not long ago I flew the NY and forgot I had a mini leatherman in my purse. It was never confiscated. Homeland Security is a Failure and Needs Attention. We need to target terrorists, not wage war.

After 9-11, I thought the drug trade would stop in it's tracks. I thought illegal aliens coming over the border would be stopped... but No! Why because the government allows drugs, and illegals, and won't admit it. What other explanation after 4 planes were hyjacked on the same day, and supposedly we increased homeland security so much, could there be for such breeches?

Bush is not protecting the USA from attack in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have the greatest respect and admiration for our soldiers who devote their lives to protecting freedom, so don't say I am. My problem is our presence there is not about getting Bin Ladden or protecting the USA -- it's about protecting oil and protecting defense profits.

Peace was good. Soldiers liked peace back then too.
