if my gf gets pregnant when im in the coast guard are the covered. or do i have to marry her for her to be covered

you have to be married. she's not covered as your girlfriend.
your child will have medical coverage once he/she is born and enrolled in DEERS, which you have 90 days to do, etc.

You have to be married in order for her to be covered.

No coverage. your family benefits do not extend to " girlfriends."

After the baby is born the child will be covered. Your girlfriend will not be covered for prenatal care unless you are married to her. The child will be considered a dependant only after it is born.
