| ABSOLUTLY! There is a rateing i think it is shore patrol forgot exactly what it is because it was staffed mostly by reservists and i was active duty but there is a rateing that will give you some experiance similar to police work. Study up and nail that ASVAP you need a 40 to be allowed into the CG and a much better score to get any of the good jobs. O and before you head off to boot memorize the general orders on the back page of the book it will help a lot and rates and ranks for navy / coast guard so you will have less memorizing in boot camp. Semper Paratus future coastie allways be ready. |
