My husband is going to the US Coast Guard, boot camp. I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?

1-While he is there, if he is going to get paid?
2-How much? Can we use own our check back account, so I can pay some bills?
3-Which bank do you recommend is better?
4-After when he can use cell phone?
5-How it's really work the Delivery Day?
6- When I can get my military ID card? After he is out Boot Camp?

He will get paid via direct deposit. Use your regular bank. You should get your dependent ID before he goes.

1- Yes, but not as much as he will get after boot.
2- Since you are married you will receive "housing allowance," which is meant to cover rent, and utilities. You will also receive "separation pay." (250).
3- If you go with the bank that they have for military people, you wont be able to use a "debit" card or buy things online. It's a personal choice-the military bank works for a lot of people.
4-During boot he wont be able to, but they will give him some opportunities to call you. After boot he can use it whenever he want (obviously not during PT or anything!)
5-6: I have no idea!
