If I am in the coast guard do i stay out for months at a time on a ship?

I need advice from someone that is in the coast guard or airforce to please tell me the positives and negatives about each one. I'd rather hear from the actual people serving not a recruiter right away b/c no offence but they are like car sales men they just want you in. So please be blunt about it and just tell me flat out the good and the bad i can expect from each. I heard that airforce is treated the best and there are more and more women entering the coast guard so please tell me about them.

youre an idiot if youre going to sit there and think that all recruiters are like that.. anyway ill tell you non-bias because im not a recruiter anymore and either way i have nothing to gain..

the airforce is the branch that is treated the best out of all of them, the get the nicest barracks and any time they are on an army or marine installation they get paid extra because its lower standards of living. if you are looking to do something easy then go with them but answer this when was the last time someone said "youre in the airforce, thats so awesome"

with the coast guard they are pretty easy too, not they dont stay out to stay out on ships for months at a time.. you should know that by the name they deal mosth with the COAST lines and protecting them as far as smugglers and stuff like that.. i dont know too much about them but obviously they cant be that badass cause people dont even consider them a branch of the military
