Blood Test upon entry into the Coast Guard?

I used to smoke pot on a regular basis. Upon entry into the Coast Guard I was told I would be given a blood test to test for all around health ect. I'm 16 I'll be joining on a delayed entry program so when I finish high school I go off the boot camp. They told me I can join when I turn 17, or wait until the day I'm done with highschool (one year before I would go to boot camp) and I'll join then. When I turn 17 the last time I would have smoked pot would have been 35 days ago.

I don't want to jeopardize my future in any way. Will my blood be clean? How can I clean it more so without using any detox. Will I be drug tested in the time period of age 17-18 on delayed entry? I don't plan on ever doing drugs again, it's behind me. I'd just like to know the facts.

I am hearing a ton about urine tests, and I know I'm going to pass that. My question is when they take my blood to test for healthiness ect. Are they going to be looking to THC as well? And if so do you believe I'm in the clear?

pot only stays in the systerm for 30 days. If you stay clean, theres nothing to worry about at all. The only test that goes back farther is a hair test, and by the time you finish high school if you havent par-taked...still no worries

1 Time Use - >7 Days

Once Per Week - 7-13 Days

Twice Per Week - 13-24 Days

Three Times Or More Per Week 24 Days To Thirty Days Then Its Out Of Your Urine. Hair Tests Can Still Show But Cut It All Off Or Buy The Shampoo

The military entrancing processing station (MEPS) uses urine tests to test for drugs but before you even get there your recruiters have urinalysis tests in their station; they wont even let you go down to MEPS unless you are clean. But in the meantime quit smoking and drink lots of water.

Blood tests actually clear before Urine does!! Dont worry at least theyre not doing hair tests!! Those last for 6 months!

Good chance youll be tested again!! So dont do anything like 2 months before!
