What’s going to happing if I join the US Army?

I’m a sophomore in college and I feel compelled to join now, because if I wait 2 more years there will be no more need for me or the “your country needs you” will be gone, so what will happen if I join now or wait? I feel like someone who is 20 in 1969.

This has started to become an anti-war protest. I think he knows he could endanger his life joining the military while at war...

I recommend joining Army ROTC if you still can and joining the service. You will become an officer and get a lot more respect and job oppurtunites. You're country will always need you, so don't feel like you'll miss the oppurtunity of serving your country. And who knows, we may still be in Iraq or Afghanistan then...

Why not be honest, you're flunking out.
You'll be more vaulabe if you have a degree, both when you enlist and when you go looking for a job after you're discharged.
