Maddy has a spectacular aura about
Air Force operation time of WW2?

I need to know how long:
RAF (Royal Air Force)
Luftwaffe (German Air Force)
IJNAS (Imperial Japan Navy Air Service)
could stay in the air during the battles of WW2, especially the battle of Britain and the attack of Pearl Harbor

Thanks

it depends. What it depends on is the transit time to target, loiter time, actual combat time (eats up the fuel), the distance from the takeoff point to where the fight is.

For example, the battle of britain, the germans were flying from the continent, and had to have a reserve to get back. the brits were able to take off from a local area airfield, and could stick around a little longer since they didn't have to have as much fuel reserves.

Also, fighters had different ranges than the bombers. So you see, there are too many variables to insightfully answer your question.
