| what military (navy/AF) jobs translate to good "white collar" work when you're out?
I qualify for every job in the military, I took the ASVAB and am just trying to decide what to take. I will without a doubt have finished my BA in business by the time i'm out as I will be in for about 5 years and have less than two left to go, and they now offer my commerce degree online, so i can continue no problem. I was told ATC will probably be the best skill with the highest pay and best retirement plan for when I get into the civilian world. I also saw a lot of administrative positions in both AF and Navy which offer a lot of what my recruiter says is good experience for bussienss, such as purchasing positions and other "office" kind of jobs. So someone with some experience, what job woudl be the best for soemone who wants a "white collar" kind of job. I'm terrible at mechanical things, and I know I would not enjoy being in an engine room. Although everyone says any kind of aviation mechanic is good way to go. So tell me about yoru experience what you know! |
