| I will be marrying my Air Force fiance soon. Can anyone suggest colors...
...since he'll be wearing his uniform? I loved the idea of a patriotic wedding at first, but now I don't really like it. I asked him for ideas on colors and he told me to pick whatever I wanted.. he's not really into that whole thing. Plus he won't be here the entire time I'm planning it. |

My friend in the Air Force got married to his sweetie in December and he wore his uniform too! I believe the colors she choose were the usual white and blue, but with very little red. I think the only red they had was on the cake table and on the cake. They had some rose petals on the table and as for the cake, just accents in red. Oh, and only some of the flowers used were red. Most of them were white. But I think if you don't want to go patriotic all the way, just go with white and blue, it still looks nice. |

I think you should use whatever color of dress you want. It's your wedding day. But if you just have to because your conserned about matching I suggest for a brides maid the color brown, and pink goes very well with brown so you can have pink accents. Here are also some other suggestions for some web sites I found, hope they help: The knot http://www.theknot.com/ch_article.html?Object=6189575195 Air Force Wives http://www.airforcewives.com/index.php/component/option,com_content/task,section/id,19/Itemid,175/ |

Red white and blue, of course! :-) I know a gal who had her wedding over the 4th of July and used deep red, white, and dark blue and it was very beautiful. Or you could use what you think would look nice with his uniform. I'm not sure what color an Air Force uniform is (gray, blue, green???) But if you ask you fiance, I'm sure he could give you some input. CONGRATS!!!! |
