getting the job you want in the air force?

I am joining the air force, hopefully I will be able to go to MEPS sometime next week or the week after hopefully. I really want to get into Intel, I plan to put down intel jobs when I get to MEPS. I don't want to go in guaranteed general and have to try for it later but I want to leave as quickly as possible. What is the best way to do this. My mom doesn't want me to leave unless I know what job I will be getting. It took a year for her to come around to me even joining the air force so this is pretty important to me.
