| should I join the navy? I'm 21and i dont really have jod experience. i think the longest job i had was 3 months when i 17 at papa johns(a summerthing)any way like i said i'm 21 and I thinking about the navy and joinig you know seeing the world serving my country and broading my horizens and stuff.I talked to recuiters but i could sense they wernt being striaght with me. I know that it will be hard work but anything worth somthing is. and I have a son and girlfriend to think about so I know i cant be lazy and scoot by life like I have been. I want to to know the facts and when I'm ready to go recruit i know all the answers and not let them decide what is best for me.What i want to know is whats the policy on marjuana convictions( i alr4eady know they test you once you sign up)and i need to lose some weight before i enlist .I want to know what to say to the recruter so i can be satisfied with my decision to enlist every job apply for look at drug conviction and already know they wont hire me.thats what i get for living in a conservative state like az it is az and i dont smoke weed anymore this was 4 yrs ago so get the fact before you pass judgement |

| I would say yes. Not only will you gain discipline and direction in your life. You will also gain very sought after training in your specific field and gain college credits in that field. Then you get money to continue your education after your service. If you have marijuana convictions you probally will be disqualified for some jobs. Mostly ones that require top secret clearance and that requires a clean police record. I'd still do it though. I wish you the best of luck. |
